Egypt's marketplace for independent makers. Apply in about three minutes, then list from your maker dashboard — or, if you're on Shopify, we'll connect your store with you.
Watch the two-minute introWhat 101 is, how an order reaches you, and why nothing changes on your side except more orders.
Like what you see? Applying takes about three minutes.
Apply to sell“Why would I give you 15% of customers I already have?”
You wouldn't — and you shouldn't. Keep your own site and your own Instagram for the people who already follow you. You pay us nothing on those sales, and we'll never ask you to stop.
101 is for the customers you don't have yet: someone who came for a candle, found your ceramics in the next aisle, and checked out once for both. The 15% covers finding them, the buyer protection and the support desk. Payment handling is separate: card orders carry 2.75% of the card payment, delivery included; cash on delivery carries nothing.
Put next to what it costs to buy that same customer through ads — and to keep buying them — it's usually the cheaper side of the trade. And unlike ads, it only charges you when something actually sells.
Not a feature list — the three things that actually change for you the day you open a doorway.
Shoppers arrive for the market and find you on the way. Someone browsing Home Decor meets your work without ever having heard your name — and you pay only if they buy.
Points earned on any brand can be spent on any brand — funded by the marketplace, not by you. Someone else's customer arrives with a reason to shop your store.
On Shopify? We connect your store with you: products, prices and stock stay up to date here, and orders land in your Shopify admin. Not on Shopify? List from your maker dashboard, even in bulk from a spreadsheet.
Every shopper earns points at every brand on 101 — and can spend them at any of them. It's a cross-brand cashback wallet that we fund, not you. Here's why that matters on your side of the door.
A shopper orders a candle from another maker and earns points on it.
Points sitting in a wallet are a standing reason to return — the marketplace paid for that, not the maker.
Nothing ties those points to the brand that earned them, so they can be spent with you.
Commission is calculated before points are redeemed. A shopper paying with points doesn't reduce what you're paid.
It's a re-engagement machine no single small brand could build alone — and it gives shoppers a reason to do their buying here instead of across ten separate checkouts. Which is what puts them in front of you in the first place.
Start fresh in our maker dashboard, or connect the Shopify store you already run.
Everything you need in one screen, built into 101. Good if you sell on Instagram or another platform, or aren't selling online yet.
We set up the connection with you. From then on, your products, prices, photos and stock come across from Shopify and stay up to date here.
Deliberately hands-off about your craft, deliberately hands-on with the parts that make a first-time buyer hesitate.
One short form. Tell us what you make and where you make it.
A person reads every application and checks you're a genuine maker, making in Egypt.
Add pieces from your maker dashboard, or connect Shopify with our team. We check each one before it goes live.
Your doorway opens with the marketplace. Orders land wherever you work.
No fee to open. No fee to list. Nothing monthly. If nothing sells, you owe nothing.
Commission is calculated before any points a shopper redeems — a customer paying with points doesn't reduce what you're paid.
Shoppers pay by card or cash on delivery. On card orders we collect the money and pay you; on cash orders your courier collects it as usual. Either way, two dates matter — and neither is a surprise.
Ten aisles, each with its own colour. Fashion, Home Decor, Beauty, Scents and Accessories open first, and the other five follow. Some are thinner than others — being early in yours is worth something.
Yes — and we mean it permanently, not as a launch concession. There is no exclusivity on 101. Keep your own website, your own social selling, and any other marketplace you're on. You pay us nothing on any of those sales.
Independent brands that make their pieces in Egypt and sell from Egypt. A person reads every application, and you'll hear back from us either way.
We set it up with you. From then on, your products, prices, photos and stock come across from Shopify and stay up to date on 101, and orders placed on 101 land in your Shopify admin. Your Shopify stays in charge: 101 never changes your products or prices there, and your 101 price is always your Shopify price. We check each new product before it goes on sale. When you mark an order fulfilled in Shopify, 101 updates on its own. Refunds and cancellations are done on 101 and passed to your Shopify; if one is made in Shopify instead, it opens a support case so a person can sort it out. The full list of what we read and write is on our Shopify data page.
Bringing you customers, your storefront and placement in the aisles and search, buyer protection, and our customer-service and dispute desk. It's charged on the product price only — never on the delivery fee — and it's calculated before any points a shopper redeems, so the loyalty wallet never comes out of your side. Payment handling isn't part of it: card orders carry a separate 2.75% of the card payment, delivery included, and cash on delivery carries nothing.
We do. Shoppers earn 5% back in points at every brand, and the marketplace pays for them, not makers. Your commission is worked out before a shopper spends any points, so a customer paying partly with points doesn't reduce your payout.
You do, with your own courier. You set your own delivery fee and making time and print your own labels, so your coverage and timings are whatever your courier already offers. A customer buying from two brands pays one delivery fee per brand. On a shopper's first order we pay the delivery fee, and you still get yours in full.
Shoppers pay by card or cash on delivery. On cash orders, your courier collects the money as usual; on card orders, we collect it and pay you. Once an order's 7-day return window has closed, it goes on your next statement: we send one on the 15th and the last day of each month, listing every order and our commission. The statement nets what we owe you — for card orders, and for any points a shopper spent or a free first delivery — against the commission on your cash orders. When we owe you, we pay by InstaPay or bank transfer within two days of the statement; when you owe us, you pay the same way and upload the proof.
Shoppers have 7 days from delivery to ask for a return, through our support team, and it's a refund, not an exchange. You can mark made-to-order and personalised pieces as final sale. Our support desk looks at what went wrong first. If a piece arrived damaged, faulty or not as described, you pay for the return delivery and the shopper gets your delivery fee back. On a change of mind, the shopper pays the return delivery. Where a shopper keeps the item and is refunded, the loss sits with you by default, though we can cover it as goodwill. On a refunded card order, the 2.75% handling fee isn't recoverable.
Not to apply — the form doesn't ask for any documents. Once we approve your brand, we email you a link to set your password. Add your payout details before your first statement. If we need anything else, we'll tell you when we review your application.
Yes. There's no lock-in and no exclusivity. If you close your store, we'll send you your full order and statement history.
